With block placed in the correct position, an operative climbs into
the hollow of the block and drills 2 no. 28mm holes to a depth of
150mm into the existing slab; through the precast holes in the base
of the block.
(recommended drill SDS Max)
b. The dust is cleared out of the holes using
compressed air
c. Chemical resin is pumped into the 2 holes,
2 no. 500mm x 24mm threaded bars are twisted fully down into the
wet resin.
d. When the resin has cured 2 nuts are tightened
down onto square plate washers.
3.05M & 3.65M Alfabloc
